The Follow up to Tekken Revolution is out, Soul Calibur Lost Swords......In Japan. Having a Japanese PSN I figured it's give it a go. It appears to be the free to play version of THE BEST PART of Soul Edge and Calibur 1 and 2, The Quest mode. Muisc is taken from 4 and 5, stages from 5, The Graphics are vastly improved over SCV there's no online from what I could make out and I didn't get to play it much becuase it wasn't letting me do Beyond one fight, and just getting to the select screen was a pain in the ass. Sigfried, Mitsurugi and Sophitia are the only playable characters so far and there is alot of loading.
Yup i've downloaded it too & having the same problems as well, don't know whats wrong with it atm :-/
Soul Caliber for Dreamcast and Soul Caliber II were the best games in the series, I think. After that, they kinda went downhill.
I have no idea why people were disappointed with 3, I thought it was great and packed with content in a way fighting games today aren't (ironically including SC itself). As for this game, it sounds interesting enough but the free to play thing just kills it for me, that "business model" needs to die.
