I've mentioned this one some time ago, while we talked about the Extreme Sports glitch. Now I've finally uploaded some videos. I didn't have any videos showing the disfiguration glitch, so it's the throw glitch this time. Here's how it's done. In practice mode grab your opponent, pause while your character is executing the throw. Select "start replay". After a moment into the replay, press start again. Here's what you get: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O67Xl9FXxZM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UJM8w2zv-8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzoe12Hu8c0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ytvDhR7jBI
That's pretty neat. How on earth did you find this out? I would never think to hit pause and replay while doing a throw move.
Totally by accident. I discovered several glitches in Soul Calibur, this one, and the freak disfigurations being major ones. They are both achieved by pausing in the right moment. Anyways, what you have to do to achieve this effect is pretty standard. You make a move, end it with a throw, but you want to see the move, not the throw, so you pause and replay. You've seen what you wanted, so you skip the replay at approximately the throw sequence and after a new round begins, the character starts to act strange. Believe me, it takes more than a few tries to find out what caused it and how can it be reproduced, but I figured it out. You can find this "trick" on the net, since it became the more popular one. I haven't seen anything on the other one though. I'll post some videos of that one too. I still have some videos that show glitches in early DreamCast games. Seeing inside of Sonic's head in the 1st Adventures game, stealing the golden Chao egg, by dashing through the glass... I've already posted the Extreme Sports glitch. This is fun stuff.
