Also. Is there a hacked version of this game. I'm not sure but I seem to remember that this game can never be 100% completet because one of the collectables is missing it's hit detection so that you can never actually aquire it.

if my memory serves me correctly this game has compatibility issues after upgrading the n64 with the expansion that came out around the same time as donkey kong. tbh i never played silicon valley again since but there was a lot of talk about it on the old dextrose forums at the time. i always kept the old little black cart thing that was originally inside the n64 flap near the front after installing the newer expansion there. if i ever encounter a compatibility issue i can switch to the old one when needed :)

ok i never found out that till now thanks too bad i dont know where the original memory thing has gone

i thought it was a problem with the everdrive but i guess its just something poorly designed by the developers
still wanna play the game will have a look around

never thought my question would be answered and totally forgot about it.

Well known issue that Space Station Silicon Valley is poorly coded and does in fact have big issues with the expansion pak.

Jet Force Gemini was well coded but still has issues with the expansion pak. The list of non-exp. friendly games is fairly short, probably patched very quickly in the libraries.

Zelda OoT + GameShark (v3.2 and 3.3 at least, whatever can search for codes)+Expansion Pak=random freezing. I never tried to do any memory searching for any other game so I don't know if it was a game specific problem or not. OoT sure as hell didn't randomly freeze without the gameshark in that same mix.
