You may have noticed the awkward title of this thread but i am learning spanish in school, yet a lot of games i want are also written in japanese.
does anyone know of a good site to go to or info about how to learn japanese?

btw- are some japanese games written in different ways??

if someone would help me maybe i could contribute to the internet by translating games and such, and know what is being said...

Ideally to learn Japanese you have to go to a class, you can get by with those self learn tapes/CD's/Books/PC Programs, but in a structured environment you will learn more.

To learn Japanese you really need to go to a class. Learning from books and tapes is no good. You need conversation practice. Sometimes Tatsujin and I talk over ICQ in Japanese. No English. This makes for good practice in reading, writing and grammar.
