Speaker and LCD TV too close cause distortion ?

    hi guys i got a question , with CRT TV's if you have a speaker too close the image will distort and change color.

    does this happen with LCD TV's ?

    No, the reason the image distorts on a CRT is that the magnet inside the speaker bends the electrons as they travel through the TV tube if it's too close - LCD TVs don't work in the same way. CRT screens shouldn't distort either, if you use magnetically shielded speakers.
