There are some special PlayStation units between special and regular models. Some of them are just rarer variants of the regular models.

    1. Debugging Station DTL-H1001 120V 17W 60Hz

Early DTL-H1001 units had S-Video outputs and old style product stickers. They also have early PlayStation logos. How many of these early units were produced? The highest serial number I have ever seen is 300225. The lowest is 300003.

At least one of them has another sticker under product sticker with text - "This device has not been tested for compliance. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased.".

    2. Debugging Station DTL-H1002 100V 10.5W 50/60Hz

I know only two of these units and I never had any. The serial numbers of these known units are 300107 and 300117. They use Japanese blue cases with final PlayStation logos. How and where they were used? It looks like they are the same with DTL-H1000 but used for PAL games. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    They also have S-Video outputs.

    3. Debugging Station DTL-H1001H 120V 17W 60Hz

It has S-Video output but uses Japanese SCPH-3000 case. No idea how many were made since I know only two of them. Both had very low serial numbers. One of them is 300036. I don't remember serial number of the second unit. Were they used at the trade shows?

The unit shows PAL in color.

At least one of them has another sticker under product sticker with text - "This device has not been tested for compliance. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased.".

    4. Debugging Station 120V 60Hz 17W

Big product sticker and grey case. The sticker says "April 1996" at the bottom and the serial number is 303020. The serial number is not "simple".

It was once listed and sold on eBay. No information...

    5. PlayStation DTL-H3001 120V 60Hz 17W

The unit was sent from Sony to the US magazine as sample. The sticker says 300101 and "February 1997". It can boot games from CD-R. Both NTSC and PAL are in color. Works as normal Debugging Station. I didn't check it but I was told that it doesn't work as Net Yaroze. Of course, it's in black Net Yaroze case. Looks like regular US Net Yaroze but it's not.

    6. Debugging Station DTL-H1100

Another unusual unit. It has grey case, five digit serial number 10210 and "May 1997" at the bottom of the product sticker. Works the same as regular DTL-H1100. How and where were they used?

    7. Debugging Station DTL-H1201 (Prototype)

Only one confirmed unit. It has grey case, green sticker with the model and serial numbers at the top, white sticker on the disc cover and "NOT FOR SALE - SONY" sticker at the bottom. PU-9 system board is inside. NTSC and PAL both are in color.

The white sticker says "GPU-B SC Ver, OS Ver2. 1 J(NTSC/100V).

    8. Debugging Station DTL-H1200 (Prototype)

The same as DTL-H1201 (Prototype) but Japanese. Works the same as regular DTL-H1200, checks Japanese license file. NTSC and PAL both are in color.

    9. Debugging Station DTL-H1200 100V 50/60Hz 10.5W

And the last unit for now. Works the same as regular DTL-H1200 but has old style product sticker and "NOT FOR SALE - SONY" green sticker at the bottom. The unit which I had was 300335.

I'm pretty sure there are two known grey DTL-H1201, aren't there? I had one of them, and the photos that you showed me a little while ago seemed to be a different unit, as the sticker placement was different.

EDIT: I just found the photos of the unit I owned, and I was wrong - mine was actually a grey DTL-H1200. Here are some photos:
