I just picked up a couple Special Edition Halo Green Xbox's. One is complete in box and the other is for just the system, the controller and hook-ups. I've been able to find various listings of the system by itself but none that are complete in box. Does anyone know how much they go for? I don't have a picture of the one I just got but here is a link to a picture of what it looks like http://www.videogameobsession.com/videogame/xbox/Hardware/index.htm

My wiki has that information: https://sites.google.com/site/msdxbox/limited-editions/halo-elite-force-pack

    One loose would be AU$60

Be sure to convert the currency to your region. The price is only a guide, it maybe a little different. One boxed is fairly uncommon here, so one boxed in Canada might be more common resulting in a little lower price.

Hope this answers your question bro.

Hey man, thanks for the info. Ya, Ive done some digging around and there is one on Amazon that is near mint in box for $299 and about 5 of them new going for over $600. Of course none of them have actually sold for that much or they wouldn't be listed anymore but it kind of gives me a round about idea. I know its kind of off topic but since your from Australia, I was just wondering if you might know why it is that with most PAL games and systems that they command a significantly lower price? Is it because there is less of a demand or is it just that more were produced making them more common?

Oh haha, no way $600 for a super common special edition, they'd never sell. One sold here again recently for $60, doesn't look complete to me but I'd say the average price to pay for one of these in box would be $90. It's odd loose systems come close in price, but that's how the market is for these, as odd as it sounds.

I'm not sure why PAL would be cheaper? Usually PAL is more expensive, NTSC titles for me are $10, sometimes $15 cheaper than a PAL release. I think PAL just holds the value more, and most likely less of them are around but that's just my view on that. I don't collect for any other system other than the XBOX and right now XBOX is a good time to buy, since prices have been increasing lately.

You'll find prices in Australia are dramatically higher than any other region, even when items are brand-new. Avoid buying anything from Australia unless it's an exclusive.

Complete, the NTSC U/C version is worth about $50 USD. Possibly a little more with a mint box. It's not exactly rare. The Canada exclusive, blue (Kasumi color) Halo 2 LE box is the only Halo console that was ever even remotely "limited." $300 and up is simply laughable. That's what we call "sucker" prices.

A complete Halo 1 console in the box is worth around $100 or a little more. The ones that are around the $300 mark are ones that are still sealed in the box.
