As some of you already know, one of our members (Selgus)
donated a very rare piece of hardware (ultra 64!) to be auctioned and
raise money for the long term maintenance of the site.

I have listed the auction below, please try and spread the
word as far as possible without being impolite or stepping
    on any toes.

This is quite an item he gave us, so I am very proud right
now of the site and the users who have responded so strongly
    to the fundraiser.

    Here's the link:

Even has the Joybus - cool!

Thanks to Selgus for this generous donation.

The question is - how do we determine that the buyer is a board member? Or does that not matter? At the very least, wasn't he concerned that it would go to someone who'd actually get some use out of it, rather than sitting in a collection?

I even like the fact that Nintendo cannot spell Development properly on their hardware. "Developmnet" indeed - 0 of 10 for that engineer's spelling test!

    Nice donation!

Might have to put a tin hat on and find a trench to view the bidding from... INCOMING!

That's an impressive item to donate for keeping the site running. I may be new, but Selgus you have my thanks as well.

I'm sure the final hours of this auction will be a war battle greater than D-Day. =P

I think I speak for everyone when I say that's one of the most impressive acts of charity I've seen in the site, and even more in times like these. Thanks a lot for the donation Seigus.

Let's hope it raises a nice amount of money, the rarity of the item really deserves it ^_^

Granted, however it's just cute to see a spelling error on a piece of hardware...

Wow, massive shout to Selgus for donating that. Very kind, hopefully you will enjoy the community you're helping to sustain for good long time yet.

Wow this is an excelent item and if i could have been able to i'd have bid on the auction not just for a wonderful item but also for assemblergames.com

Out of every forum i am a member of i must admit that that assemblergames.com is the best and lets hope that this auction raises a huge amount of money and thanks to Selgus.
