hey guys i have a family of ps1's ;D and i want to know what spray paint i should use UK places please. and is there anything i should be wary off?
3000 grit sand paper (sand lightly), rustoleum, and then buy the rustoleum clear coat. i recomend spraying light coats of the paint and coming back in an hour to do the next spray about 6 times, same with the clear coat
i am looking online at homebases website, they have some boring colours is there any other paint companies you can recommend?
I personally use kylon fusion. It's a formula that bonds to plastic very well, then I use whatever clear coat I have on hand. Fusion doesn't need prep either (unless you want to) and it works like a charm.
Nice Mk3 escort you have to forgive me as i have never painted before ill look into this and post some pictures
thanks its not an mk3 unfortunately, its an 86 pony escort literally never worked with plasti-kote, i know if its not an oil based paint its not going to work too well
In the UK i am sure that would be a Mark 3 escort by the year its made... never heard of the ''pony escort''
was a short release here in america, ford made it as a joke because it uses the same body as an 84 foxbody mustang and it was an economy vehicle.
aaah help my eyes!!! what has been seen cannot be unseen! that poor poor escart has been abused in one of the worst ways imaginable i have a soft spot for 80's and early 90's Fords :-( anyway as for thread starters Question, Vinyl dye you can get a lot nicer selection of colours
