sprite question

what do you use to make sprites animated? i have a sprite sheet of what i want animated but what do i use to animate it?

I think Paint Shop Pro is the standard. You can steal it off the internet. If not, try to find some cheap shareware crap. Google "Gif Animator" or something to that effect.

 

It can also be done in Adobe Imageready if you happen to have a copy of Photoshop - you should find something in the Help files. It's a fairly convoluted process the first time, but it gets easier.

 

Ulead Gif Animator, works well too, but I tend to use Photoshop and Imageready.

How do you...?
what i want to do is have a banner with Dhaos slashing away at cless and cless dies and then "OWNED!!!" appears flashing black and white.
