Square Button Famicom

Anyone got a good idea how much it's worth,I don't use it at all since I have a av famicom.

It's in very nice condition,controllers are great and so are the buttons,its a rev 05 famicom.

 

Most consoles in this condition are between $40-60 on eBay, with a few outliers closer to $80. Consoles with boxes and/or AV mods are $90+. The square buttons on this one are cute though; not sure how rare that is exactly but personally I'd expect to pay between $70-90 for that when all is said and done.

 

Square buttons in Japan are not super rare, but on eBay they sure are. I would say $100-150+ for one in this condition (which is very nice indeed).

And I could easily av mod this fami but I think it would decrease it's value.

 

I would not mod it. AV mods are for gaming, and those square buttons are not really the best way to play Famicom.

 

Well, in any case I'd be interested in buying it if you decide to sell. Also, I agree with ave; don't mod it. In my experience, people that want them modded will want it modded a certain way, so you're better off leaving it untouched.
