    In the old days, yes. As a kid, I collected Codemasters games for my Spectrum... saved up my pocket money then walked up the road to the toy shop to buy a budget game for £2 or £3 lol. Now they're owned by Balderton Capital, which is essentially a European company set up by Benchmark Capital, who are based in California. Essentially they are still British-owned, but venture capital firms are just as bad.

    They will probably still have the Eidos label as Taito who are also owned by SE are called er Taito...

    This makes me wonder what will happen with the Hitman series. Eidos bought IOinteractive, the company that made the games some time ago. Hitman is the only game I still play for pc.
    I do hope Square-Enix doesn't make it a console exclusive.
