Hello, I was wondering if anyone on here knows if someone has list the published Gameboy Advance titles and what sort of memory they rely on? Mostly related to identifying genuine carts or not. I know some earlier GBA releases used battery+SRAM; The majority were EEPROM/Flash otherwise. An exclusion I was familiar with was Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald. Those three titles used EEPROM/Flash and included battery for timed events (berries and water levels). There were also some titles which had transitioned from battery saves to EEPROM/Flash during release, such as Metroid Fusion (mine does not have a battery, but I have seen a copy with one). I am not too sure on the difference in relation to EEPROM and Flash memory, since it seems they are close in function. I was mostly interested in finding out for Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland (pretty sure it uses battery), Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Legend of Zelda: Four Swords with Link to the Past, and Pokemon FireRed. I know Golden Sun 1 & 2 and DBZ Legacy of Goku 2 don't have battery SRAM saves. I think Breath of Fire II does have battery SRAM saves. I am unsure of other titles otherwise. Thank you for any links or information further on this.
There was a GBA scene release database that I cannot for the life of me think of the URL to that had all the information you are asking for. A few years ago I referred to it many times because I had a GBA dumper that would only read/write certain save types. EDIT.... This isn't it but here's a few http://offlinelistgba.free.fr/ http://releases.pocketheaven.com/
