    The game has been ripped and there are a few scenarios and fighters that do not seem to be in the final roster yet there are their files on the DVD:

    maybe they would be unlockeable through some update through wiiware?
    Or did Sakurai just leave those there...?

    no big deal, just though it would be better here, since it has nothing to do with general gaming because it's hidden stuff, they should have been removed due to space issues why did Sakurai leave those there? IMO they could be playable in updates or something via "smash service"

    I haven't touched the JP version of the game, so no idea about the menus!. Is there a Smash Service option in the GUI?

    PS: images of Dixie Kong fighting were released at some point by the way.

    Yes it is, its on the smash bros dojo website images, once you activate it you get news, one map and pics daily, as well as messages and stuff. I think I may have seen some mewtwo pics too, early builds tho.

    I played Brawl yesterday. IT OWNS! They add so many new gameplay elements, it's crazy. And the new characters are awesome. It definitely plays more "floaty" like the N64 version.

    I played as Falco. In Melee he's pretty quick and falls really fast. This wasn't the case in Brawl.

    Also, the levels seem WAY too small. So small that Henners and I thought they were playing in "Big" mode or something.

    The game will be really fun, no doubts there. But I think competitively, from what I've played, Melee will still be used more for tournaments and such.

    I d be happier if this was an amalgamation of both N64 and Melee to be honest.

    I ve played Melee to death, and I d be shattered if I had to keep playing it any more instead of Brawl!:p

    A group of my friends and I came. Jon got to play the little kid who's live was apparently complete after winning.

    Charlie played and beasted on our other friends, ending it with a final smash as Falco. bringing in the land master tank for an epic win. Then it was me as White Kirby, Charlie as Wolf, Gannondorf and someone else (I forget who).

    It was on onnett and I was finding some chain combo's fairly early on, Kirby's new "breakdance" lets you get a few hits and can be chained into D+A and an U+B. X, D+A, U+A, D+A, U+B was a good combo I found and got off a few times (Someone behind me said he thinks kirby played before [​IMG] )

    I got the smash ball, and got I think everyone in my little pot. Almost instatly got a second smash ball but I believe gannondorf got it if I remember correctly. It came down to a sudden death between me and Gannondorf and I got him close to 400% health before he got me... [​IMG] Lame.

    I just watched the video, me and 2 other guys talking about the technical aspect of melee vs brawl and competitive tournament mentality gaming kind of over powers the video. Talking about, things such as chance and randomness and why they shouldn't be in the game. Ironically, the end kind of shows what we were talking about....

    Maybe people just not founded a way yet to play them... who knows ? Some Melee secret were really well hidden and it needed some weeks/month to get an approximately complete list of the things contained in the game. I remember Majora's Mask, the first day after release when people did not believed the existence of Oni-Link before complete enough walktrhough got released.

    I've played it aswell there are big scenarios, I'd say is way bettter than melee or N64, with online gaming, but no wavedash

    Why is there a toon Sheik, if there never was a game with toon Sheik in it? Kinda lame imo. They should've put Tetra(= with tetra attacks) or something in instead of Zelda 2 times.

    considering the original Zelda can turn at the player's will into Sheik, it's safe to assume that its toon version will adhere to the same attributes, no Henry? =)

    actually it seems that it was a cell shaded version of sheik LOL.
    If anynoe has got the rip of the game why not checking out those files and see what's inside?

    ...yes. And Toon link is a cell shaded version of link. That's...kind of where they get the toon name from.
