Star Wars Episode I - Racer (NTSC-U) [t] (IPS Patch)

Hello fellow ASSEMbler members, last night I was playing around with creating a trained ROM for Star Wars Episode I - Racer, so that I wouldn't lose any money when buying items in the shop. What this IPS patch does is allow you to buy and trade back items in the shop without losing any money; however, you also gain money from the transactions. I suppose you can think of this as a money cheat for players who want to buy parts for their pods from the very start; however, it doesn't effect buying pit droids, you'll still have to pay for them, but that isn't a big deal when you can easily regain the money from buying an item and trading it back multiple times. However, despite the fact that it doesn't effect the purchases of pit droids, it works with buying parts from the junkyard.


Requirements:

• A clean dump of the NTSC-U version of the game; also known as, Star Wars Episode I - Racer (U) [!].z64.
• A program that allows you to apply IPS patches; personally, I'd recommend a program such as ips XP since it's simple and easy to use.
• A way to play the game once your ROM dump has been patched; I've tested the trained ROM in Mupen64 0.5.1 and on the actual N64 hardware using a 64drive, but I'm sure it'd also work fine with the ED64.
• Have fun cheating your way to becoming a millionaire pod racer
