Hopefully episode III will be better then I and II those just sucked bollocks especialy episode I that was one big pile of crap.
Episone one was total shit. Episode two was not so bad, but there wasn't a thing you couldn't predict happening in the first five minutes. Episode three : Something bad happens, anakin goes nuts, people notice, try to get away from him, he goes completely nuts, becomes darth vader, obi-wan hides the children, amidala dies (probably before he goes nuts, this is what probably makes him darth vader). So we end with republic in ruins, the emperor takes over with lots of nazi overtones. Last scene probably shows baby luke doing something special or a special "glimmer" in his eyes or some nonsense. Here's Star Wars 3: Save yourself the $10.
I have faith. I've seen some leaked bluescreen footage of Anakin and Obi Won's duel and it looked good. The word it might be the longest uninterrupted fight sequence in cinema at around 12 mins. Seeing the Emporer use a lightsaber will also kick some heavy ass. Also it was Spielberg that directed E.T. not Lucas.
Fight Scenes As we all know fight scenes cannot save movies when there is too much crap in between (See Episode 1 and 2). Seeing the Emperor fight is going to be just like watching Yoda fight, exactly what you would think it would be before you saw it.
You forgot one important part. When Obiwan steals the children. Anakin gets mad and they somehow fit on flowing lava while surfing their way to safety. Then the rest of that stuff happens and Luke's eyes glow red and 666 appear on his forehead. COWUBUNGA!! Pic of that scene coming soon.
Assembler that animtaion is sooooooo good :smt023 And yeah there will be nothing exiting in episode III but still i'm going to see it. It can't possibly be any worse then episode I (jarjar must die a horrible slow death and the arse that played anakin in episode II with him)
September 20th UK. Original Trilogy gets released in special DVD boxset. Book the day of work. Me and my mate have. And whilst were on the subject of StarWars, my mate has just paid $1000 for a Powers of the Force Powerdroid chromalin. Tis very nice.
I don't know guys, I don't think the first two prequles are THAT bad. Sure, it's hard to outdo the trilogy tht defines scifi fantasy. Over the last few years those two movies have grown on me a little. Episode I is almost decent if you smoke a lot of weed before watching and turn off the volume whenever anakin and the queen talk and make up your own funny diolauge. And that lightsaber duel with Darth Maul kicks ass. Episode II is watchable as is, just forget everything you know about the other star wars movies. Once again weed helps. Try counting how many characters there are vs. how much screen time they get, great party game. Episode III better kick some major ass to make up for the shortcommings of the first two. At least we get to see all the Jedi, the queen, Watto, Darth Tyrannus, Sebulba, Jar Jar, and all the other characters we hate so much bite the dust. Plus it's gonna have Chewbacca in it, and Chewbacca rules.
