So, anyone here already went crazy shopping? So far i haven't bought anything, still waiting for bigger discounts. If that doesn't happen i might only buy HL2: Episode 1 and 2 since i haven't played them yet. Anyway, i'm on the Green Team. What about you?
So far it's pathetic! Reminds me of how everyone a year ago was going on about ~their digital rights~ but publishers must be laughing their asses off about how easily they got PC gamers to give those away in exchange for mediocre sales...I guess if you're new to this shit you might be excited about Just Cause 2 going on sale for the zillionth time. I might buy something but personally I think GOG.com has the better summer sale going with no bullshit DRM. Already bought Carmageddon 2 since I didn't have it yet, but everyone who is missing games like Planescape Torment, System Shock 2, the Thief series and so on should head on over there and get some much better deals than whatever Steam is offering.
Yup, 've been buying crazy from Gog.com in this summer sale, even though I told myself I wouldn't... we'll see how I end up paying for it when the cc bill arrives :S
I remind PC gamers on Twitter all the time that they don't actually own these games, just a License. Do they EVER get pissed when I remind them of that.
