My own friend is a big Steam user, so I'm sure he'll be all over it. I'm curious to see what they'll have going this time. Hopefully Life is Strange goes on sale so more people will give it a shot.

Gonna buy Farm Simulator for sure. Can get GTA V for $40 on G2A.

Silliness aside, I'm rather irked at a few developers who raised prices on their games just before the summer sale, only to mark them down to the original price with a sale tag.

GTA5 and War Thunder are the two most noticeable from what I have seen.

Hitman Collection isn't a bad price, and I guess C&C if you don't already have it - although there was a far better deal on Origin not so long ago IIRC.

Other than that, it's been a bit meh. I'm not sure what I missed on day 1 or the flash sales, though.

I buy mostly obscure games that never go on sale except in summer.

Make sure you check Steamprices.com and Steamdb.info/sales before buying anything.

Those sites can help you if the price is the lowest ever available and if they raised the prices before the sale.

The fact that Rockstar basically raised the price of GTA V so they could sell it for the same price while claiming it was "25%" off is complete bullshit.

They raised it by adding an in-game money card with the purchase of the game, but then removed the game by itself, so while you are getting more for that price, it's still essentially full price.

Oh yea, the card also makes it inapplicable for a refund.

Bought How to Survive just because it was dirty cheap (95% off).

Want to get Dishonored but still thinking about it. It has the same discount from the Winter Sale but i was hoping for it to go cheaper, specially with the sequel just announced.

PS: Is Shadow Warrior worth it? It's 90% off.
