I decided (after a few years of just putting it up for show) to finnaly put Steel Battalion back to its box. However there is so much stuff and so less box, does anyone have a picture or something like that how it is supposed to be put in the box?

I had this same problem a while back... it's hard to believe they initially fit everything in there

Yes I was relieved that I was able to get everything back in the way it was supposed to. It like mission impossible, it should make a cool bet with friends. "5$ that you can't get everything in the box as supossed to within 5minutes" :D

My Steel Battalion almost killed me. I was trying to get it in the attic, but the fit was so tight I had to push it with both hands. The ladder slipped and down came me, the box and the ladder.

When I finally saw straight again I was crumbled up between a folded set of ladders and my ribs had been broken. My head had struck the hand rail of the stairs, but thankfully I hadn't passed out!

What a dick eh! I decided not to keep Steel Battalion in the attic and actually handed it over to a mate of mine. One day I might be friends with that game again, but until then lol

a shame. It's a great title, even if the controller is rather complicated

Having owned it since it came out and kept it in mint condition, I was really annoyed as the handle had snapped and there was a rip in the box. Everything else was perfectly fine....thanks for the concern however lol

    Because I can

Well I did use at least one of them........wanted to make sure I got one with green and one with blue buttons

One is the original one and three are the second version

Thought they may be a good investment

Did have 5 but sold that and made a few £....but then couldn`t be bothered wiht the others.

When my son is old and grey, they may be worth something ;-)

If you want to keep something for the future, the worst place you can keep it is the attic!!! Extreme temperature changes plus moisture = very bad!!

Depends on your attic I guess. I have a lovely, safe, temp controlled, floored, lined attic with carpeting and it's own electric supply. It's just a bog standard attic floored out and lined properly. This way I can get up into the attic and store a tonne of rubbish. Well, that's if I can get it through the little hatchway (see previous post).

I wanted V1 and V2 of the game, but the only copy of V1 I have seen locally was unboxed so I left it.

All very very dry....does get hot in the Summer, but then not much hotter than the rest of the house

The one thing that did go a bit wobbly in the loft was I had a nice minty Virtual Boy - Blockbuster case.........there was a slight drip when I had a new boiler installed via the chimney and it dripped on the sticker, which is now peeling a little, otherwise all OK

I must at some stage get it all properly insulated/boarded to make it easier to store stuff

Man, I really regret selling mine. I remember selling it for $70 down on a brick-style DS when they first came out, which I sold for a PSP, which I sold for money for a laptop, which I sold for money for a newer laptop.

Anyone have one they are willing to part with? I sort of miss not having it in my collection.
