Can't you just post a reply? There's no rule that says that all of your pictures have to be in the first post. Any time I add new pictures to my collection thread, I just post a new reply.

 

You got a really good point, however the fact that i need to dance around the issue and find "other ways" to edit my threads completely turns me off from this site.. Furthermore .. I think this is my 7th thread that has been edit-locked. It's really not worth putting up the fight anymore

“Dance around” the issue? Posting a reply takes virtually no effort. You did it just now. Are you seriously going to abandon ASSEMblergames over such a minor issue?

By the way, I think the way it works now is that all posts have the edit option removed after a certain amount of time. I think the reason for this is so that people won’t edit their old posts, so information won’t be lost. I agree that it’s not a great idea, but it's a really minor issue.

Most people, including myself, added new pictures to our collection threads by posting a new reply even before they changed the forum's editing rules. Look at virtually any of the other collection threads.

So, from what I understand, this bothers you so much simply because you want all of your pictures to be in the first post of the thread. Why? Is it for aesthetic reasons? Are you really super concerned about the formatting? I can't see why this matters at all.

 

These don't leave their case often, but i needed a new shot of all of them.
