I'm about to store away about 10-15 Gamecube consoles (bare consoles), but I want to know if my idea of how to store them is adequate enough so that when I take them out of storage in a few years or so they'll be just as I left them (for the most part). Hopefully someone here has some experience on the topic.

I plan to buy three clear plastic container tubs which would fit about 6 consoles each. Each gamecube I would wrap in a plastic bag, followed by bubble wrapping.

My real concern would have to be if I would need to worry about moisture forming and destroying the laser or other components. Could I simply buy a few of those moisture sachets and throw them in? Is there anything else I need to worry about when packing consoles away like this long term? (Would I need to remove the SRAM battery from each console, etc)

Plastic bags can degrade (themselves) or the consoles same goes for bubble wrap To quote assembler ''Plain old parchment paper'' is the best for storage

SRAM only fails or degrades when in use (from m experiences) you can leave um in

I'll have to get some for when I finally put all the consoles in my bedroom in storage.

The ones I care about at least.
