Hello, I purchased an Everdrive-MD 6 months ago (July). Everything worked fine until I updated to OS 19 (I believe that was when it started). Since then all roms 2048 in size and higher stopped working. They flash and then at the end of the flash the screen flips like it reset but nothing else happens. Sometimes it will lock up right at 99% of the flash. All roms under 2048 still work flawlessly. Here is what I have tried: Downgraded the OS back to a version that worked (15 I believe is what I downgraded to) when that didn't work, I upgraded back to 19. Upgraded to 20 the day it came out with hopes that it would fix this but no luck. Sent the Everdrive to Electrochip so he could upgrade the firmware to the latest. Formatted the SD card in my PC, then on the Everdrive, re-upgraded OS to 20, put a few roms 2048 and higher on. same problem. I am at a loss. I don't know what else to do. I loved my Everdrive and now it doesn't work. :crying: Anyone have any ideas? I am out of ideas.
that is looks like some physycal damage. i wonder how your cart will be work under reserve OS copy, that is os which was installed by default on your cart. you can run reserve OS if you will press A+B+C or A+B+C+UP befor power on ann will keep pressed. also please try run this rom and say what you see
That didn't work either. I don't know how it could have physical damage, I have never removed the cart from my Genesis since I bought it. The only time I removed it was to send it to Electochip and this was after the problem started.
