I have been noticing this very strange gfx glitch whilst playing resident evil 6, its usually not very noticeable but tonight whilst playing Jake's campaign i came across the room in the below video that showed the glitch up really badly.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRdz-FvXfAY&feature=youtu.be It appears to manifest it self in dark sections of the screen like dark corners, so maybe related to dark colours, but i have played night time levels and never saw this problem. Any ideas what could be causing this, im using a HDMI connection btw. Could it be related to this problem i had with my HDMI cable.... http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/7/p/353553/1828900.aspx#1828900 Is my HDMI port buggered!!!??
Had this issue on a retail xenon way back when fallout 3 was released, i just swapped cables and the problem was gone. Hope its not a hardware issue m8.
I think there's a "color space" adjust on the dashboard options section specific for video. You might want to try changing that setting... (Standard, extended and something else I don't remember)
Don't scare the guy ... LOL No that doesn't look like EDRAM fault because EDRAM cause pixels to pop on the whole screen regardless of the colors being displayed.
ive had the blue dots on a xenon before JUST like that... i personally had to swap the GPU... just sayin. like it didnt "glitch" up... but i had blue tiny dots mainly noticable via component. via standard A/V you couldnt see it.
