    Greetings.
I own a modded SCPH-5502 PSX connected to a LG Flatron CRT TV (model RL-21FB50RX) using a properly wired SCART-RGB cable.
The problem is that every NTSC USA game is displayed in black and white, RGB or Composite...

    Facts:
-I've tried another 5502 in this TV with same results. However, 9002 and PS2 outputs color NTSC (same game and cable, no color corrections on PS2)...
-PS2 Outputs color in PAL60 games.
-5002 Models display color NTSC in every TV I have, but not in that LG...
-DVB-T decoders display color NTSC in that TV.
-I've tried 3 different SCART-RGB cables, they are all properly wired. DVD films in PS2 are green coloured (in LG) and using the composite video cable in the other TVs I have results in black and white games.
    ¿What's wrong with that TV?

7502, 9002 and 101 had an Easy way to modify the colour carrier with a link ( plus track cut for safety), if i remember rightly, the earlier ones actually required to inject the colour subcarrier frequency.

I'd also suggest your scart lead isn't passing RGB properly or you have plugged it into a scart socket without RGB , else all games would be in colour on the old playstation regardless.
