Try setting the output to 720p. If you still don't get sound, then set it back to 1080p and we'll see what else we can try..
hmm.. how about plugging in the whole dvi thing you had in there before, and set it the output from that back to deafault of whatever it was before. Maybe that might cause the tv to change something internally?
Oh, so you don't have the dvi cable for your pc now? If you did, or if you can get one again, you could see if sound actually works on that input still. Or even, try a different console direct to that port instead of the Framemeister?
Nope, you're right. No headphone jack on the Framemeister but that's not an issue. What you would do is buy a left and right phono cable that terminated in to whatever you wanted. You can get them terminating in female phono ends, male phono ends and even male or female headphones jacks. If you do use that option though you need to remember to change the audio setting within the Framemeister menu system to do audio over Video out, not HDMI. I had a quick look for the original thread I mentioned earlier but can't find it. It may have not even been on this forum. Either way the issue with the TV was never resolved.
You don't need to order another cable, just toss this inbetween the M-M cable from your switcher and the Framemeister SCART adapter. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scart-to-Au...87-CSY-2100-/221190880604?hash=item338000fd5c
Thanks for the replies, all. The good news is I solved the issue. The bad news is I'm even more confused than when I started lol. So I bought this cable and just got it in the mail. I hook the cable up to my SCART switch, the audio goes directly into the speaker and...EXACT SAME ISSUE! The audio plays on all the inputs besides low lag one. Ok, so $10 down the drain, no biggie. I took a closer look at the scart switch and turns out it has stereo audio out. So I take some RCA cables plug the SCART switch audio out directly in the speakers and BAM sound is playing all inputs. Halleluja! I'm completely stumped as to why the new cable is doing the exact same thing because the audio should theoretically bypass the FM and go directly to the speakers. Just for giggles I tried plugging the SCART Switch audio into the FM's AV in jacks and...no audio. Yes, I changed the audio settings. None of this makes any sense but at least my set up is back up and running. Thanks for all the help! edit: looks like I may have been plugging the audio into the wrong RCAs on the FM but I'm too lazy to change everything back lol
I had the same problem with my 4k samsung TV. Got no sound over hdmi. I tryed a HDMI audio grapper, and another hdmi cable but nothing helps. My solution is connect the HDMI output from the framemeister to an AVR ( i use a Yamaha RX-V767), sound and picture anything work fine and with HDMI.
