Just FYi, Street Fighter HD is now up on XBLA. To get it you must buy commando 3. http://www.gamerbytes.com/2008/06/super_street_fighter_ii_turbo.php
Why not wait? What's the point with two nearly identical characters and probably 1 stage? Better to wait.
I was interested in this being the big fan I am for all fighting games but after seeing how it got mega downgraded and seeing it in game it was like really weird how its still only 2 frames. Not sure if its being improved
Was greatly tempted to buy the required game to get access to the Beta.. but then i decided against it.. and will hold off till the final game is reelased. whenever the heck that is.. (Seem like this game has been in the works forever!)
Lol, Trigun Xbox, nice. Can't play SFII, was a bit before my time really and my SFIII tricks just don't get me anywhere. Got no problem with Vs. or Zero though.
It's not in widescreen because not everyone has a widescreen tv. It wouldn't work online if it allowed one person to use widescreen and the other not. Think about it.
Wait, is it widescreen or not? If not, that's fucking retarded. I hate when they stick shit on XBLA and it's in a box. I don't give a fuck if the game would need to be reprogrammed. That could be because it's a remake of the other street fighter game on xbla.
It goes on to cover your entire when doing widescreen, but to be honest, I didn't bother checking if it cuts top'n bottom or if it limits screen placement for the characters ('cause of the background scrolling/character distance). Someone else will have to check, as I'm far away from my 360 now. Loved the little I got to play it before heading out, though.
Does the beta have local play or is it online only? Thinking about picking it up but my Xbox Live Gold expired and I won't be picking up another 1 year card until next Friday.
I remember reading capcom's blog about the wide screen stuff some time ago. The "wide screen" in normal/original mode is zoomed in if you choose to use it, cutting the top and bottom off some. The wide screen in remix mode is true wide screen. ...Or I could have completely got it all wrong.
