Today I have for you ripped straight from the OXM demo disc #54 something that up until yesterday I didn't even know existed. A demo for Stubbs the Zombie! I was walking around my local thrift store and saw the demo disc and as soon as I saw Stubbs the Zombie on the case I knew I had to buy it. Stubbs The Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse is my all time favorite game and I've played through it a ton of times. I quickly ran through this demo to see if there were any major differences between the demo and the full game. I didn't outright notice anything that was different but I'll play through it again with a closer eye soonish. It was a publicly available demo so I won't be surprised if it's identical to the full game version but I still figured someone may want to give this a download and a play. The level that you play in the demo is the level in which you must sabotage the water plant. You have access to all of Stubbs' powers and free range to use them. There's also no difficulty selector but playing through the game I believe that the demo is actually running on one of the harder difficulties though I haven't played the full game in a few years so I couldn't tell you exactly which one.

Anyways the demo is downloadable from here!

I know that Stubbs wasn't the most popular game for the OG Xbox and I haven't seen too much "behind the scenes" content out in the public but I figured this is a start. I've reached out to friends who worked at Wideload at the time and questioned about how far along a Stubbs sequel ever got. I'm told that they never got too far beyond possibly some concept art and a basic story arc but due to a lack of publisher they never got much further and unfortunately he doesn't have anything left. If anyone has any info or early builds/proto types or anything really related to Stubbs shoot me a message!

Lastly since this demo disc was an OXM demo disc it does have a few other demo's on it: Half Life 2, Painkiller and Winning Eleven 9. If anyone wants me to release these downloads as well let me know and I'll be happy to do so. though to taunt you I'll do it like 1 a week or something :p.

Yeah seriously. It's been my favorite game since I first got it, but searching around the internet for things associated with it has pretty much yielded nothing. Especially nothing pre-release or anything cool like that. This demo was really the first I could find and though it isn't the greatest find ever, I was certainly excited to find it.
