Yello, I bought a game selector box because my HDTV only has one component cable port. With this, I was able to hook up my Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. However, I didnt count on my DirecTV requiring a component cable slot (I dont have HDMI).

Anyways, this may sound mental, is there anyway I can add a slot (maybe by some sort of splitter) so I dont have to swap out the cable and PS3 all of the time? Sorry to whine, I'm a lazy ass, and I'd rather not buy a second box.

    Thanks

splitters weaken a signal and cause noise.

you need a switch box. For multiple connections, hook up multiple switch-boxes in a tree branch fashion. Be creative! Buyt buying another box is probably what u ll have to do if you're lazy.

I still manualy change VGA cables because i couldnt be arsed to get a 4-port KVM box

Sell the box you bought and buy a Joytech 240C/245C. It has six component inputs.

    Heya ddp,

since its not in your profile, i don't know wherre you are located Should you be in Europe, check out the stuff HAMA sells.

My setup looks like this, and has a minimal loss of quality. They are the best switches i know.
