I've found out from some websites that the Spectrum +2A outputs RGB signals at 1.67V p-p - which would explain why it looks so wrong on my TV, as SCART RGB is supposed to be 0.7V. Strong colours seem to affect other colours on screen - very odd looking stuff.

So how would I go about fixing this? Yes, I've done electronics in college for TWO YEARS and still can't solve a simple problem like this! How do I work out what rating resistors I need, or do I need cap's or something else? AFAIK, it's only the R, G and B lines that are 1.67V - everything else appears to be normal.

Ack, I have the same problem when I hook up my ST-V thru my Supergun (my other PCBs work fine), I get massive colour bleeding. I think you should use potentiometers, but I'm not sure what kind.

I was thinking that too, but yeah - what kind!? At least I found the right type of DIN plug - OK, it was 8-pin and was supposed to be 9-pin, but I just drilled a hole in the middle and stuck in another pin ^_^

Only thing now is my spare C64 PSU is now a useless spare C64 PSU...
