    Greetings.

I've been wanting to reball a few XBOX 360s with red ring of death. I've bought some of the things needed and watched a lot of videos on it. However, I've only got a decent heatgun and would like a proper preheating/reballing station to do it semi-properly and I'm looking for suggestions.

The ones I can find on ebay for instance costs way too much. Anyone have any tips for what to buy? In the $500 ballpark at most, or if you have simpler solutions for how to mount 2 heatguns (top and bottom at the same time etc..).

Any tips on hardware would be appreciated for how to get the CPU/GPU off without using 400c from the top only using only a heatgun, which I do not want to do of course ...

I do have a few XBOX 360 arcades without HDMI with red ring of deaths to practice on.

It works for smaller boards. PS3 fat is out of the question but for XBOX 360 and PS3 slim/superslim it works fine.

Reballing takes a lot of practice and patience though so I'm still just testing on broken motherboards. Getting better and better. =)

I got scammed over at http://bgamods.com though when trying to buy XBOX jigs from BGA Rework Store so I've yet to try it "for real". I'll change this text if it turns out he sends new ones but they took payment and I never got anything except the "We'll look into it, talk soon" post, then nothing for almost a month now.
