I think a better idea would be to develop a good 72-60 pin converter which has a sturdy plastic case and holds NES carts tight in place, like the Emulation Adapter for the Doctor V64. Then I could finally use the Game Action Replay on my Famicom
How about a Gameboy/color Everdrive, there hasn't been a decent flash cart for the handheld (F2A with GB-Bridge was the only vialble option that I remember).
A GBA flash cart may not actually be such a bad idea. The EZ Flash IV is discontinued. Furthermore it uses a mini-SD card (try finding one of those nowadays) and doesn't accept SDHC, most runs of it have a battery that's a real pain to replace, and it doesn't automatically patch like most DS carts does--you need to use a patching program. Though GBC is needed more (unless there's a way to make a combined GBA/GBC cart). overload: there's always the USB 64M cart. It still doesn't take SD cards, though, and it won't play the game with built-in palettes if you use it as a multicart. It also has that weird idea of resetting it in order to use the other bank. Edit: For devices, how about a TG-16/PCE adaptor?
I tried making a GC/GBC flash cart, but I was in way over my head without formal training. I would really love a cart like that that will play all games.
