    Hi,

I have a couple of Saturn wireless joypad, I am thinking of converting one of them to Bluetooth since I love playing Gigawing in MAME with a wired Saturn pad.

I was thinking of using the MSI Bluetooth pad but it is impossible to find in stock anymore (http://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/266305332/MSI_Bluetooth_Gamepad_for_Mobile_Phone_PDA_Computer.jpg). It would have been perfect since it is so small and I could use stock battery holders in the Saturn pad.

So I was wondering have you any suggestions for a Bluetooth joypad that would be good to use for such a project, for example would a PS3 joypad work? would it fit (looks like it is 2 circuit boards stacked).

    Looking for feedback, thanks!

It'd be terrible to see a Saturn packed hacked up just for use as a bluetooth controller using that as a craptacular base. Better off with an original implementation that you plug the controller into that way you could use, oh I don't know, every Saturn controller ever made wirelessly?

    Interesting, thanks.

The official wireless Saturn joypad has space for two AA batteries but a USB rechargeable battery is very nice IMHO. I was thinking of connecting it to my PC, already got a wired SS pad converted to USB.

I was thinking of using this but dont know if it would fit: http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/ecea/
