Were Sun Sparc systems (I am specifically thinking of the sparcstation 10 and sparcstation 20 from the mid-90s) ever used in game development ?

My hunch is that they were not, since I can't think of any consoles that ever used a sparc architecture, but I'd like to ask just in case - were Sun Sparc systems ever used in any kind of videogame development - perhaps as graphics workstations for content, or rendering ?

    Thanks.

I remember Junichi Masuda saying that Pokemon Red/Green were developed on a Sun SPARCStation 1 system. So there you go. :p

With an emulator, no problem on any powerful enough workstation I would say.
