"Super Battletoads" for the Game Boy

Apparently there was a Battletoads game that was never reeased. Interesting read:

 

Kind of baffles me in this day and age companies can find completed unreleased works and yet still not really care. They even took video and yet it was never included or mentioned on in Rare Replay. Kind of feel bad for the guy.

A Rare Replay 2 with more old works + unreleased things, including Conker builds, sure would be nice. Is anyone out there at Rare listening?

Wow, interesting to know about, and crazy it was basically unknown for so long!

 

Always liked the arcade version of Battletoads, too bad that there was never a home port back in the day. A GameBoy version would've been better than nothing.

 

Me too, they ought to know that finished games for popular game series would be an instant cash grab. Unless it's 100% shit and it destroys the appeal of the game series...

There's not much more of it sadly. Looks a pretty accurate 8-bit port of the huge arcade game.
