Sorry if I seem like a big noob. Im a collector myself but nowhere near as hardcore as most here. Long story short, I found a Super Comboy at a thrift store.

Anyways, other than 3 or 4 pictures online and knowing it's an official Korean snes, there's just about zero information on this thing. I haven't been able to find anyone selling these so I have no clue of its value. I don't plan on selling it, but it would be nice to know. Also, it came with no power adaptor. I ended up trying out my US SNES adapter and it fit perfectly and booted up like normal. Other than checking if it powered up, I don't plan on using the adaptor again till I can find out more. Thanks for the help. Here's some pics for all that reading:

    * Sorry, didn't realize this was for development discussion. Would a mod please move this. Thanks.

I'm surprised your US SNES adaptor fitted, as I would've thought it (the Comboy) had a smaller type power socket as found on the PAL and Jp machines?

Worth $50 unboxed here in Korea. Never seen a boxed one in the five months I've been here.

It was just a thrift store, so only a couple bucks.

I thought the same thing, but the ac adapter hole is identical in size as my US SNES.

    Very nice find!

I guess it plays NTSC-J games?

I love it when unusual things turn up in strange places. Well done with your collector's sixth sense.
