Hey guys, received my Everdrive MD and Super Everdrive yesterday, quite happy with the Everdrive MD as its playing every game i throw at it on my Pal Megadrive 2, regardless of the region. I love the thing But with the Super Everdrive (DSP-1 Edition), Barely any of the roms from my collection (mostly (U) and (J)) are working, is this normal? or is there anyway to play these NTSC roms on my Pal snes? If not I guess it means I have to download all my roms again in (E) format. Opened up my snes to see if I could region mod it with a 60hz switch but since mine is the newer model Mobo its impossible.
I don´t know if it is possible to improve this region "problem" with a review O.S. I hope so. As Oppy89 said, with Everdrive MD It doesn´t happen.
Sorry, NTSC/PAL protection. Try to look in GoodSNES for f1,f2 roms. Sometimes these are fixes for this problem.
Oppy89, What is this new model PAL SNES you have? I have region modded about 10 PAL consoles but all of them were successful
Its the 1995 one chip mobo, it doesnt have the PPU 1 and PPU 2 chips. I have modded the earlier model mobo a few years ago, but that console ended up dieing and I had to buy another Snes.

Looks easier than the original mod. Just a few more parts. only 1 pin to lift instead to 3. The crystals should not be a problem to get your hands on.
