The order I reproduce my error in:

    1. Start up a game (EVO: Quest for Eden), play until you can save, do so.
    2. Reset the console, press start to load EVO again, and the save file is still there for you to load.
    3. Reset the console, load any other game, like Zelda.
    4. Play Zelda until you can save, do so.
    5. Reset the console, press start to load Zelda again, and the save file is still there for you to load.
    6. Reset the console, load EVO again, and the saves for it are gone!
    7. Reset the console, load Zelda again, and the saves for it are gone!

When I put my Super Everdrive's SD card in my PC, it shows that savefiles have been created several times:

Check your SD card if it aint on Lock... I just had a pretty similar issue with my SD2SNES, feel really dumb now. If not try a different SD card, it might help!
