OS V8 totally not supported with new carts, you should press Y+X before power on if you need to repair OS. i ca't understand what you mean about saves. probably you expect something like emulator saves, but saves works by other way
Problems with os repair/saving games hi i hab problems with the os repair i preesed x+y before power on .and then os update it say the same as before.it lot no rom with save i had problems i can load saved game or where i can load saved games before i load a rom at the loading screen it makes a save dat but a can not load it. i play zelda and after i turned power of it begin at not at the same place where i turned the console off.it begin at the start. must i normally save ?or autosave wherever i stay i the game(and turned the cosole off)
So super everdrive saves SRAM state in the file for all roms? What is the name of this file? Is it in some common format and could be read/edited using any external tool? (for example for editing rom name if SRAM state is linked to rom file name) Thanks.
No, at the moment all saves are grouped together into 1 file (I beleive it's called "ASAVE.DAT", or something to that effect). When v10 of the OS is released, it will have individual saves.

All you need to do is load your game, play it, save normally and the next time you load the game it will automatically load the save. You never need to load a save manually. For OS v9, it should only be used on a certain board revision (1.5). Which one do you have?
hi board ist acually i cannot see the board no. befor i became the everdrive i have the v9 i wont set it back of the v9 os repair os does not work by pressing x+y before starting the console it starts normally the os is broken ?or
I assume you are pressing and holding X+Y, not just pressing it. If that doesn't work you may need to contact KRIKzz. Maybe it needs to be fixed.
my super everdrive kinda works...but every rom i tried has a distorted screen with stripes or pixel faults all over it. maybe its the roms, maybe its the everdrive....can somebody please post a link to a working rom that they used so i can check whats wrong. thank you.
