Hi all, after good experiences with the Everdrive MD I want to buy a Super Everdrive. Couple of questions: - Can I use the DSP-1 chip out of Michael Andretti's Indy Car Challenge to install on this cart? It's a very cheap game to acquire. - Can it run the translated rom of Shin Megami Tensei? - Is the case closed with standard screws? I want to open the case for painting, but don't own the screwdriver for opening SNES cartridges.
You'll probably find Krikzz's forums the place to ask questions now, as he doesn't come here any more. Super Everdrive is just a board. If a seller bundles it with a cart, ask them what screws they use - we can't tell you. You can get the screwdriver bit for a couple of dollars on eBay, though. All DSP-1 chips are effectively the same, so you should be able to use any - I believe that's a common game to use.
