It should work on any NTSC console, North American SNES or Japan SFC. Just be sure you get one that has the NTSC CIC chip. The only other concern is the cartridge casing. The US shaped case won't fit into a SFC, but a SFC shaped one can fit into a US SNES if the blocking tabs are removed. Basically, it's like any US/JP import situation with the SNES/SFC.

What's the CIC do benefit wise. The universal housing I've seen in a video isnyhe SFC casing your talking about? So in short I shouldn't chase down a NTSC since the ever drive will play in my SFC and the unit and controllers look cooler Lol.

    Thanks for ur help BTW

You want a NTSC CIC in your Super Everdrive if you have a Japanese SFC. If you choose no CIC, the cartridge will not work on a normal system. Ideally you want that universal cartridge shell, or whichever one matches your region. If you don't get the right shell, you physically won't be able to insert it into the system.
