    Hello everybody,

I am new to this forum. And I want to say sorry for any misspellings or grammatical mistakes. English is not my mother tongue.

After reading a few threads I realized that this forum is crowded with people that know way more about consoles than I do. So I hope somebody can help me with my question.

I live in Europe so I got used to the whole 50/60Hz problems of the old consoles. To my own surprise I read in an article that, in contrary to the MegaDrive/Genesis and the PAL-SNES, the Shape of the cartridges is the only "region lock" between the US an JP versions of Super Nintendo games. As I want to buy a few games which I played as a teenager and as I want to play them full-screen and with out that slowdown, I decided to buy a Japanese Super Nintendo/Famicom, as I don't like the look of the US-systems. Now to my question:
Is there any adapter or slot extension that allows me play the US-cartridges without being forced to enlarge the slot of my sfc?
There were some adapters available for PAL systems that allowed to play Japanese or US games. But they had problems with special-chips so I don't think they are good choice.

Hope someone can help me out.

If you are only wanting to play US games on a super famicom, then all you need is a bridge adapter. Check this out

I am sure someone on this forum will sell you one if you post a "WTB" or you can check ebay. I thought I saw a couple located in the UK that might work.

Is there anybody in this forum who got one of these and considers selling it?
