Doh! I only saw the preview text which went "Super fighter is now...". I thought it would finish as "Super fighter is now working on Super Fighter!". (^_^);
... An updated version of Super Fighter Block Battle for the Gameboy Advance and Nokia N series phones will be released in good time. One of its features is a completely new and original soundtrack, which was just released on CD in Japan: http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/tento/sf.htm
Heh, Sango Fighter or Super Fighter... Which game do you think will get a port first? Is there even plans to port these to a console which could feasibly run them?
... Hello. Sango Fighter. The main sticking point with me is that both Sango Fighter and its sequel have enough animation frames to be considered smooth and enjoyable without any need for new artwork to be created. As well, they both have very solid, well written engines that could be adapted to another machine without needing a heap of rewrites and improvements. Super Fighter, for as much as I love it, to be re-issued under my production standard would need to have its entire set of graphics redesigned from the ground up and redrawn to make them more detailed and graceful. As well, the game engine itself needs more than a few tweaks before being adapted to another machine; being as it was Jon Cheng's first fighting game, its control scheme wasn't perfected and there were a few bugs left behind. Yes, there are.
Hrm... Would you happen to have any pictures of the original Taiwanese release of "The Beggar King", or know of any way to verify if a copy is authentic or not?
