Super Magic Drisk

    hi i recently got a supermagicom the one with out the internal disk drive, but it came with the super magic disk, but the drive dosnt work, it just says write protect all the time, now ive checked the disks and there not write protect (they format fine in my superwild card, i have the same problem with my super magic drive, it gives the same error, with the supermagic disk attached via the (disk i/o) so i was wondering if anyone has a super magic disk if they could take a photo of the small pc. thats inside the disk enclosure, and the model + part number of the disk drive, i belive its a teac, as nothing i try seems to work, let me know it could be i have the wrong parallel cable, also what voltage psu does it require + amps as well

    I'm no expert on the unit, but if it uses a standard PC floppy drive with standard connectors, you could replace the drive with any PC drive.

    If it is saying write protected all the time, have you tried taking the cover off the drive and looking to see if anything is blocking the write protect sensor?
