Watching this brought me a great sensation of..........irony. Theres nothing more ironic than hearing fanboy complaints about the current generation's marketing and ads campaign in detriment of past ones, and then looking at this piece of crap that makes the Wizard movie look good by contrast. The computer virus part is soooo lame it almost hurts...
I love nintendo but after watching that a little part of me died inside. Its like a car crash, i dont want to look but i can't help myself.
I suppose it depends on what your definition of a "virus" is. If it's as vague as "something that causes harm to a target system", then the NES already had one, albeit primitive - some unlicensed carts got around the lockout chip by subjecting it to a massive voltage spike. Not your normal definition of a virus admittedly, it generally means malicious code that spreads itself, and since the NES didn't have much in the way of user-writable media or an OS to speak of, no virii were possible.
I would've loved the performance if I was probably 3-5 years old. Some good family moments there! I just love that old 80's style for females where one shoulder is in the open. So sexy!
