I assume thats a us copy? The jap copy is like £4 delivered and you can change the maskrom for an eeprom with the US version flashed to it.
yes sorry I ment to say USA NTSC-U I didn't want the jap version as modding it is just way to hard and the US version sells at just under £200 so £50 for me was a bargain it was either that or a pre modded jap version for £55 I decided the US is best and supersic he SNES or just get a US console
My only concern with these methods is how long it'll actually last. Of course by the time 20-30 years is up I may not care anymore or I'll just reflash it.
A 1982 Toyota is like $500, you can change the motor and the head lights and you got a vintage Ferrari! why pay $5,000,000... is exactly same, not?
Completely flawed comparision. Its like saying a Jap ferarri is only $50 but a US one is $5,000. But you can change the language on the jap one to english easy enough and save yourself money. Sure, it wont be original and a collectors item - but that depends on what the owner wants it for. If they just want to drive around in a Ferrari - yes, its exactly the same. If they are a collector, not so much. Pointless analogies ftw!
I got mine (US copy) CIB in good condition for $30 + free shipping back in 2009. £50 sounds okay by today's going rate if its CIB in good shape.
Not actually a great game IMHO. Of course the same can be said for many collectable or "rare" games, some of them are downright terrible.
Twenty-six things apparently: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_Super_Nintendo_Entertainment_System_video_games
I guess , I still top this game as one of the best RPG's ever made so I guess wikipedia can GFT . Top sellers don't really mean much in this world.
