So I really picked up a SNES for my son from a thrift store for around 20 bucks. It plays well but the sound board is bad. We have gotten it apart, (thanks to youtube and my bro) but I have NO clue where I can get a replacement board. I found one for a Super Famicom on Ebay. Would it be compatible with the SNES? We have minimal noises on ours. Like you can hear Yoshi gulp but not when you jump on him. The sounds are sporadic. My son is six and just getting into games. The new ones are to much for him that's why when I found an older system I jumped on it. I've switched from the RF adapter to the composite cord and that didn't help. Can anyone help me???
