    Hello,

If I use my official GameCube PAL RGB cable on a SNES PAL it will work?
On eviltim site I saw the diagram for RGB SNES PAL and is different than RGB GameCube PAL...

    Thanks!

It is not compatible. A PAL Gamecube cable will work on an NTSC SNES/SFC but using composite video as sync.

Ergot is right, it will mess up the image on a PAL SNES. The PAL SNES needs its own RGB cable made for it. Fun Fact: using a C-Sync wired NTSC SNES cable on a PAL SNES will fry your TV.

What about the cables that advertise support GameCube PAL and Super Nintendo PAL it's true?
It's a GAMESTER cable with gold plated pins.

It isn't properly wired if it says it works on both. PAL SNES cables need 75 ohms on the RGB lines and the sync line. PAL GC RGB cables need 220uf caps on the RGB lines plus one on the composite video line and a 75 ohm resistor connected to ground on that same line.

You can buy official Nintendo PAL SNES scart cables from France. Try searching 'SNES peritel' on ebay.

By the way, if you know something about this: I've opened my GAMESTER RGB cable and on the audio input on left channel it have a resistor of 2.2k and on the right channel the same.
They put those resistors to filter the sound or what utility purpose have this?
It's the first time when I see this kind of configuration.

I've modified a PAL Gamecube cable by removing the caps and adding the resistors, works okay

It lowers the volume to try and reduce noise. Doesn't really work that way... because you need to increase the volume to hear at the same level, which in turn makes the noise just as audible as before. Someone correct me if this is wrong, but I doubt it.

I think you are right AtomizerZero.
A friend of mine told me the same about the volume; don't know about the noise level.
Thank you for answering me :D
