About time! Note sure if its coming out any time soon but seriously how many times has SF2 been remade and 3s has only ever made it across on to the PS2 arcade perfect! Come on capcom. You too know its the most popular Street Fighter in tournaments and in interest in general.
Apparently whilst he was drying his hair, the dryer slipped out of his wet hands and into a sink half full of water. BAM! Oni was born to unleash hellish fury on the world.
Maybe among the "hardcore gamers" (ugh), but SFII is the iconic one that put the series into the public consciousness, and is by far the most well known. I'm willing to bet that SFIII would've been a lot more popular with the general public if it had the classic SFII characters instead of shitty new ones.
I agree with that somewhat. I think it also was a victim of looking old fashioned compared to all the 3D games. When are Capcom going to put Haggar into a SF game? And Damnd would be a great character too.
Different team. I'd like to think the proper SF team would have more respect for Final Fight characters and they have done a good job so far.
Wasn't the dreamcast version of SF 3, both Second Impact and Third Strike, arcade perfect? I've been playing those for years.
They're not 100% arcade perfect, but close enough that it really doesn't matter. As long as you're happy playing the DC versions, that's the main thing.
I think the DC version 3S was based off different arcade revision to that of the PS2. The main problem with it was the input lag & charge buffering difficulty. It's still well worth playing though.
I really didn't like it much either. though SF3 has stepped out of the tournament scene. SSF2T remains however. Third Strike online for the original xbox has so many memories for me.
Apparently the SSFIV Arcade DLC is going to be $15. There will also be a release on disc (at least in Japan).
