A lot of people are saying he was already he deaf when he composed it when making new music for Resident Evil Directors Cut Dual Shock Edition. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kcF7E69C6Q#t=29 I think probably not. I think someone trolled at Capcom, or something accidentally changed the instruments at the last minute. Unless some other people has the scoop on how this music made it into the game?
He must have gotten cheap to have the ghost writer do that to him. Japanese are ruthless to fakes. You will see every single cd he made pulled and shredded, his sheet music removed, and games he has music in won't be released again without rewrites. Let's just say anything resident evil soundtrack is never going to be reprinted and price will go up,up,up.
Only the ones before RE5. Let's pretend nothing exists after 5..... It also means any art books that mention him wiil be pulled, etc Games will be pulled from psn, etc.
I'd be interested in knowing who actually composed the soundtrack for some of the Resident Evil games that Mamoru Samuragoch supposedly worked on.
bluexcell > Probably Takashi Niigaki since it hasn't been said there was another ghostwriter. http://vgmdb.net/forums/showpost.php?p=59484&postcount=10
I know that being deaf is a VERY difficult condition but that was no excuse for doing what he did... He's not going to have a music job for a long time... or any job for that matter.
According to Takashi Niigaki (the ghostwriter) Samuragochi isn't deaf. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/07/a...ser-mamoru-samuragochi-admits-fraud.html?_r=0
