Swap X and O in OPL?

I've only ever had JPN Sony units, and as such I cannot get my head around pressing X for go and O for no in OPL. Is there any way the button configuration can be swapped at all?

 

Anybody? This would really help me out if it's possible.

How difficult would it be to do?

 

I have OPL running on my Japanese PS2......it's really not that difficult to adjust to the opposing button scheme.......
